“Words Cannot Explain”

homeless.jpg

On the way to a baby shower, my friend and I pulled up to an intersection. There at the corner was a weary, distraught man. Sitting all alone with his simple, tattered bag.

His sign had only 3 words, and was one I had'nt seen before. His cardboard sign had more meaning than I could even begin to understand, and simply read, “Words Cannot Explain.”

WOW!

I have seen the people on the side of the road before. However, there was something about this particular man that just touched me, in some special way.

His eyes told a story, that we would not want to hear.
His face showed the life, that we would not want to live.
His words of gratitude came from deep in his heart.
His tear stained face, we could not understand.
Just a simple dollar or two and on our way.

I wonder what it would have meant to this man if instead of a giving him few dollars, If we had asked what happened.
I wonder if he would have told us his story, and we would be in awe.
His testimony of where he had been, Where he thought he was going, And where he ended up.

We all have a story like that. A story ,, that “Words Cannot Explain.”

A past that haunts our dreams. The decisions we made, The wrong roads we took in our lives.

Thank the Lord that we have a Savior that will take the testimony of “Words Cannot Explain” and turn into one that the world need's to hear.

Thank the Lord that He was there to wipe away our tears.
He was there to listen, when words could not express what we felt in our hearts.
He was there when we cried out to Him.
He was there when no one else was.
He was there when it was just us, with our distraught, sorrowful face and our tattered bag…holding our own, simple sign.

Are you still sitting on the side of the road? Watching, waiting and confused ?
Is your heart troubled, with more than you can bear alone ??

Look up…Jesus is waiting, Give your troubled life to him and let Him wipe away your tears.
All the troubles, all the worries .. Just let it all go. He will take them from you.

Yes, your road has been long, tough and hard.
Yes, your heart is troubled.
Yes, your life has come to a point that you are not even sure if it's worth it.
Yes, Jesus paid it all, did it all and gave it all,
Just so he could Take it all ... "WORDS CANNOT EXPLAIN".
