The Israelites were in Bondage, Until God sent Moses to set them free. God didn’t just hand them the Promise, He prepared them for the Promise first. God knew if he just handed the promise land to them, He would have Spoiled them. Instead, God lead them on a 40 year journey of Faith. They had to learn how to trust in God again.

They had been in Bondage their whole lives, They had no idea what it was like to be free. They needed Discipline and Direction. During the 40 years they had to learn God would feed them, cloth them, give them water, and most of all, Lead them by day and by night.

Many of us have been in Bondage too. Then God comes into our lives, sets us free and sends us into the wilderness so we can learn to trust him, This builds our character, gives us faith to trust him and take him at his word.

The wilderness is not an easy place to be, Its rock filled, hotter than hot, and lonely. God didn’t allow you to be in your wilderness for nothing, he allowed you to be there so you could learn, Just like the Israelites learned.

In my life, one of my biggest mistakes was trying to figure out why God would let me go through my own personal wilderness. I spent my time whining, “ Oh God, why has this come on me, Oh God, what did I do wrong, Oh God You HAVE JUST GOT to help me, I just cant understand Lord”, How selfish of me !!! What a brat I was, and still am at times, Just ask my wife, *laughing*

God was giving me a GREAT GIFT, He wasn’t punishing me, He was building me up, teaching me of his ways, allowing me to see his power, Giving me the Gift of Faith and tools I needed to be affective.

God wants his people to be well prepared, He wants us to KNOW he is our God and he knows our name. He will not send us into battle unless he has given us the weapons we need to win the war and walk off the battle field in Victory. His word is Not terror and tragedy. Gods word is Triumph and Truth.

Would you send your child into a battle they were not prepared to fight. Would you send them into a battle you had failed to give them the tools they needed to achieve complete 111% Victory, Of course not. And neither will God, See my point ??

With these thoughts in mind, You can walk through your Valleys in Victory, You can go from Blind Victim to Visionary Victor, and Turn that Mountain into a Miracle, By simply taking God at his word, Knowing he IS YOUR GOD, and by his strength, You CAN overcome any obstacle he allows you to face. Know he is preparing you for Vision, Victory, Purpose, Power, and Presence.

I want to challenge you today, to step back, and take a good look at your life, situation and circumstance. Diligently Pray, Pray with POWER and PRAY with Purpose, Pray that James 5:16 fervent prayer, It will avail much.

Ask God to give you Faith for Vision, Vision for Victory, and turn your Mountains into a Miracles !!! Trust in God and you WILL become an Over comer !!! Philippians 4:13 says so !!! “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”, Will you take God at his word today, and trust in his promises starting right here, right now, at this very moment.
